About Purple Carrot
Hi! My name is Jennifer and I am the creator behind Purple Carrot Designs. I have been creating for as long as I remember and I began my journey of Purple Carrot Designs in 2016. What started as a simple vinyl-based business has now flourished into something I never could have dreamed of. I have found my true passion for creating in providing custom and unique hand-lettered stickers and more!
The name Purple Carrot comes from a childhood nickname my parents gave me when I was a baby. When I was born I had a head full of dark hair THAT STOOD STRAIGHT UP! My mom would put clips in my hair to make it appear as if it was on purpose. The purple comes from the color that has always looked best on me.
I am a wife, mom, stepmom, big sister, and aunt. My husband and I have a fiery little girl, two Dutch Shepherds, three cats and two chickens. I am a diehard Chicago Cubs fan (Fly the W!). I would consider myself an elder emo. My favorite music is genre is definitely metal/metalcore. Give me a good drum or guitar breakdown and you immediately have my heart. My favorite color is black. I love listening to true crime podcasts and I enjoy watching criminal trials that are streamed online. I drink my coffee black & a little sweetener. I could live off of sushi. My sense of humor is morbid, nerdy and inappropriate at times. I decorate my home with skulls the way people decorate with Rae Dunn -- I love the black matte RD mugs the most.
